China Shanghai Zhenhua and Gabonese manganese mining giant Comilog have signed a contract to supply two sets of reclaimer rotary stackers.

Recently, the Chinese company Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. and global manganese industry giant Comilog signed a contract to supply two sets of 3000/4000 t/h rotary stackers and reclaimers to Gabon. Comilog is a manganese ore mining company, the largest manganese ore mining company in Gabon and the world’s second largest manganese ore exporter, owned by the French metallurgical group Eramet.
The ore was mined in an open pit on the Bangombe Plateau. This world-class deposit is one of the largest on Earth and has a manganese content of 44%. After mining, the ore is processed in a concentrator, crushed, crushed, washed and classified, and then transported to the Moanda Industrial Park (CIM) for beneficiation, and then sent by rail to the port of Ovindo for export.
The two rotary stackers and regenerators under this contract will be used in the manganese ore stockpiles at Owendo and Moanda, Gabon, and are expected to be delivered in January 2023. The equipment has the functions of mass remote control and automatic control. The load equipment independently developed by Zhenhua Heavy Industry can effectively improve work efficiency, help Elami achieve the goal of increasing production by 7 tons per year, and improve the company’s competitiveness in the market.
